For real, sometimes i consider getting a copy of the dear my sun disc even if i don't have the jp ps2 just to have on hand 😭 i worry about how many games have been lost to time

Honestly mood i haven't actually played any ps2 OTZ but the premises sound way more interesting than a lot of games nowadays,,, they really weren't afraid to try new things and just go ham with the content

Fr! I miss when in old otome even side characters would get a shorter joke route or something 😭 i went into yojinbo totally blind and was so shocked to find out so many characters had their own routes
The jokes are a bit dated and probs not to everyone's taste, just a heads up LOL but i love stupid

Funnily enough i feel like new games *aren't* as good so i prefer playing older ones
In my eyes the ps2/nds/psp/vita titles were the golden era of otome. I feel like the newer games lose a lot of charm bcos they try to cater to a wider audience/be more palatable for the average

I wish old titles gets ported or preserved instead of forgotten and abbandoned. I firmly stand on my beliefs that Old doesn't mean bad! 😤

I think dotkare is my most replayed game it's just so easy to pick up when i don't feel like playing anything else that needs brain power LMAO

I'm usually lazy as hell so i just freehand everything without guidelines, but recently I've gotten tired of not making any tangible improvement and decided to start from the fundamentals again. I tried redrawing a Shirabe headshot with cubes vs an older one I freehanded and the difference is insane
