May 2025: relaxing at the top of Mount Misen, Itsukushima, Japan (near the famous Jinja Shrine, near Hiroshima). The cable car closed, the (other) tourists left, a friend and I decide to hike down instead. Bliss.

When playing with a see through shower in a hotel in China didn't turn out as clear as I hoped. Still, fun. In Japan now and can't afford such nice looking hotels 😅 (in China £15-20/night was plenty!)

Photos from the train. Bottom bunk, more comfortable option and was alone in the cabin. And I still didn't sleep very well, so this will be my last attempt for now 😅

It's night train time! I wanted to do this experience at least once in Thailand. So cool how the beds become seats, #transformers. Sadly no sleep: I was given a top berth which is narrow, right next to the light (no flash for these photos) and of course shakes more :/ I'll catch up I guess :P
