Texture icons not showing up, needs 'libjpeg8' and its not available in #Fedora. I grabbed a copy from #openSUSE, unpack 'mv' (move) don't 'cp' (copy) it will remove symbolic link to '/usr/lib64'.

I had to install Totem video player to fix no thumbnails for videos. Totem doesn't play EAC3 audio codec, not a big problem i use VLC. Handbrake reads and encodes EAC3 to AC3. RPM-Fusion multimedia all installed.

Moved the panel to the bottom and made a couple of other changes. Installed all my usual bits of software like Gimp, Blender, Godot, Netradiant along with a bunch of other packages and its all running smooth.

If you're looking for retro textures I can really recommend @strideh.bsky.social's work! They offer three free packs and a premium one. They look really sharp, have a true Quake-feeling, can be used in commercial projects and were made without use of AI!
