At the end of the year, there would be several names touted in the Wrestler of the Year lists. While Hangman or Bandido are almost shoo-ins for the top spot, Tomohiro Ishii SHOULD feature in the top 5.
His match catalogue this year has been nothing short of top-tier.

Andrade is a beast in the ring. But outside of it, my favourite version of him was when he called Darby "the little boy who works for Sting" and tried to offer money to buy him. It was genuinely funny. Hope we get to see that side of him again.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was an exceptional wrestler and is one of the all time greats.

That #AEWDynamite ending was a good way of subverting expectations. I'm pretty sure the majority of us expected Stat to turn on Harley and join the Death Riders. Her going the other way was a great surprise and an interesting route for her going forward.

The Death Riders getting really good again means they regularly pull a lot of focus on the upper side of the card. Pulling the Men's World Champion into that focus, rather than him being eclipsed by it, is absolutely the right decision. Happy to see Hangman there!
