This is such an important point. We have glorified this idea of "personalized" learning, despite pretty much all the evidence showing the superiority of "social" learning.
If you look carefully, they market this fact.

They hype "personalized" learning, by which they mean "algorithmically generated per student"

So if I'm given a word problem I can't talk to my classmates about it, bc they don't have the same one

Absolutely not. The solution to safer streets and healthier neighborhoods is *fewer* cars, not more.

We have a lot of evidence about what works (e.g., more accessible, affordable public transit) -- let's invest in that.
