I'm happy to pick up bats from the coastal villages in West Norfolk and take them to east winch rspca wildlife centre.

Gannet chicks are set to be hunted and killed. It was given a green light by @naturescot.bsky.social - an organisation that supposedly cares about nature.

Shame on them.

We're furious! Our gov petition to end the Badger cull hit 100k signatures, and we have heard absolutely nothing from them. They do not care.

🦇The National Bat Helpline is officially in its peak season and, therefore, operating an Out of Hours service for emergency bat care and crime calls only.

As well as our normal weekday service, our volunteers will also answer calls from 6pm - 10pm and from 10am-10pm on weekends and bank holidays.
My dad had terminal cancer and said to me, a vet nurse, "if I was a dog you could put me to sleep". I am pleased it's been voted through too.

🦇 Bats might be struggling with the heat and wander out of their roosts to cool down. If you see a bat on the ground or an exposed area during the day please call our Out of Hours Helpline - 0345 1300 228.
Open on weekdays from 6-10pm and weekends/bank holidays from 10am-10pm.
Great idea if everyone behaves responsibly but I work on an NNR and thus morning I was picking up nappies from the car park and dog poo bags from down rabbit holes. It's 💔

🦇 June is here!

Female bats usually give birth to a single baby, called a pup, which they feed on their milk. Young bats are very small (less than an inch) and pink with little to no fur. They will soon grow a thin, slightly grey fur.

Listen up! It is baby bat season! Please, please, please keep your cat indoors overnight for next few weeks. Seeing multiple cat-damaged or killed bats, some with babies attached.😪 Bats can live >20 years and have just 1 baby/year, so now's a critical time. # bats #cats #conservation #wildlife 🦇
