I see Joji's new album is out this February. Looking forward to it. Tracklist is long and thankfully the songs aren't all super short like the last album.
Slowly building the PC digital collection and got three games on sale on GOG. Clive Barker's Undying, Resident Evil HD Remaster and SWAT 4, all for under £10.
Also forgot to mention - Death Stranding 2 was a big influence to starting this whole journey I am not kidding.
I'll summarise a lot of my weight loss journey on my blog later down the line as much as my Ring Fit Adventure gaming experiences so stay tuned on that.
The first milestone was reaching below 14st 0lb and I haven't decided on a second milestone until I can get the weight constantly in the 13st range. I think long term getting to 13st 3lb which is what I was before I started my current job would be the next step.
But I've managed to make it work with what I've been doing and I am much happier than I was back in June. I still have ways to go and I don't intend on getting a six pack or anything like that, but as long as I get slimmer that's what matters to me. I made it work 10 years ago, I can do it again.
As for food and drinks etc. I do drink water during the HIT and Ring Fit routines and meal-wise they were already in the semi-healthy range to begin with. I just have a low metabolism due to work so exercise is pretty much the only way for me to lose weight at this point.
My current routines in the game includes Tricep Kickbacks, an upgraded Knee-to-Chest, Leg Raise, Russian Twist, Side Step, Ring Raise Combo, Knee-Lift Combo, Tree Pose, Revolved Crescent Lunge Pose, and more. And I've been focusing on the abs during the combat (yes Ring Fit is also a JRPG).
And of course there's the Ring Fit Adventure. I've written my latest thoughts on the Anime UK News forum, but basically I'm still loving the experience. It's a great exercise game and paced really well. I could literally play this for hours if I wanted to but I cap it to about 40-50 mins each time.
These HIT videos are pretty interesting as they tackle various exercise moves that you can do at home and after trying them out they have been doing the trick. 40 seconds of exercise, 20-30 seconds of rest then repeat. These include air squats, crunches, jumping jack, t-raise and more.
Because we're now at a point where the days are getting darker, I can't do this as much unless it's on a weekend so I had to come up with a new replacement in the meantime which ended up being the high-intensity training fat burn video routines that I basically did through watching YouTube.
Talking about the extended walk. This was walking outside the house going down the road up to either the railway line (about 1.5 miles, 3800 steps, 350 cals average burnt) or at the very end of the path (about 2.7 miles, 6000 steps, 600 cals average burnt).
After work I try to alternate on the exercise regime. As mentioned I don't go to the gym due to various factors, so what I have been doing is after an extended walk down the road, playing Ring Fit Adventure on Nintendo Switch, or something else which recently has turned into high-intensity training.
Regarding the morning exercise. I get up early and just walk around the house in my bed shorts (literally) for about 25 minutes doing at least 1-1.4 miles each time. That's about 3000 steps and burning on average 240-280 calories each time I do it. I also have 2 4kg dumbbells that I use beforehand.
Weight loss update - since the start of July I've been putting in the effort of exercising to get myself into shape. I weighed 14st 6lb and after 4 months I've reached 13st 13lb.

No gym, just walking a mile in the morning before work, and then exercise after work 4-5 times each week.

Was at a wedding yesterday. It was good, the food were great and the ceremony and scheduling was nice. We didn't stay for the whole day as it was a 2 hour trip to the venue but at least I didn't have to work this weekend because of this so it makes up for it.
Here's my October haul! A variety of additions including Radiance Films' October Bundle, Carole & Tuesday, Martyrs 4K, Super Robot Wars Y, Trails in the Sky 1st, and more Ghost Ship manga volumes.
