Oof my sister is treating me like garbage because my Step Mom included me in the cottage and not her. The choice was made after my brother in law tore into her and was very nasty. Not my fault. Not my doing.

Caught this Monarch while at the cottage today. It had recently emerged from its chrysalis and was drying out it's wings.

Regional species number 160 Spotted Redshank. Wow what a bird. The last time one was documented in Canada was in British Columbia in 2014. The last documented one in Ontario was last century. Extremely cool bird to see so close to home.

One last trip up north for me and the cottage will be listed in about a week. Bittersweet. Sad to let it go. Happy to have this gift and what it'll help me accomplish. Let the home search begin in earnest.

The cottage is looking pretty empty. It's sad to see it that way. Should be ready to list at the beginning of August. Came home with a very full car. It's really bittersweet. I'm sad to sell it, but what I'll gain from it will drastically change my life and I'm ready for it.

Kiddo left today for a few days. Taking the opportunity to spend some time talking to him. While it was awful at the end it was pretty amazing at the start. So I'll focus on that.

Maybe it's time for the universe to give the spray tan tyrant a stroke or something. I mean the guy is pushing 80. His constant flip flopping and market manipulation are growing very tiresome. It's a good thing Carney is diplomatic. Imagine if Pollievre were in charge.

Wishing my U.S. friends a safe and happy Independence Day. I look forward to seeing all the peaceful protests planned for today. My heart goes out to all of you. With the passing of that abomination of a bill I worry about what's to come.

Wishing Ehlers the best of luck in Carolina. Gonna miss that guy. He's personally one of my favourites. Hope Chevy has something more up his sleeve to better the current roster.
