Power and money. That's the goal of the GOP. Nothing else.

After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Depraved.

Hegseth sucks. The Qataris suck. But we aren’t giving Qatar an airbase in Idaho. It’s building dorms etc. at an existing base to train them on F-15s we sold them, just like Singapore already has there. Common arrangement we have with lots of countries. This one was already being planned under Biden.

"I'll read them all carefully..."
As carefully as she proofread her own memo, I guess. But then again, she has no experience as a journalist, so I guess details like proper punctuation are beyond her abilities.

WATCH — @whitehouse.senate.gov : “What became of the $50,000 in cash in that Cava bag? Did the FBI get it back from Homan?”

AG PAM BONDI: *LASHES OUT aggressively, avoids answering entirely* 🤷🏼‍♀️

This doesn't just seem "controversial," but just plain illegal.
This surveillance tech can also interfere with a targeted phone's ability to contact emergency services via 911, posing a safety risk. It is also controversial since it doesn't involve obtaining a warrant and can expose innocent bystanders' information to the government.

Theses kinds of people are forgetting that it's going to make studios and studio execs obsolete. If anyone can use AI to make their content, why would anyone watch what a studio puts out using the same tools?

Too often, we see people in law enforcement who panic in stressful situations, who aren't able to control their anger, and who are drawn to the job for the "power." It certainly can be a difficult job. Which is why we need to hold them to a higher standard.

Federal officer blasts chemical spray into vocal but nonviolent Portland protester, video shows

The interaction illustrates how federal law enforcement officers do use aggressive tactics against protesters who yell and needle officers but don’t appear to present clear physical threats.

Seems like there's a lot of people who don't like feeling stupid, but instead of using the vast resources available to increase their knowledge, they use social aspects of the internet to band together w/others like them, giving them a false sense they're right to hate what they don't understand.

This is also why the GOP is fighting to maintain power with whites becoming a minority. They're afraid POC will treat them as poorly as they've treated POC.

I don't think a journalism degree is required to be a journalist now - I don't say this as a joke or a comment on the state of journalism, but I think a lot of people have become reporters online who never went the traditional route. You could probably get into it now on some level if you wanted to.

Yet another reason NOT to use Google, and NOT to rely on ANY "AI summaries."

I just reported the NPR's post as "misleading."

Still WAAAY too many people that don't blame the GOP.

The word "megachurch" is never associated with good things because the whole premise of a megachurch is to be a huge money-making enterprise (scam). The people at the top are always the worst.

Quick, somebody make an AI video of this with J.D. in Blackface and force him to comment on if he's not offended because he's not Black.

So, Vance is saying only people that pay taxes should get ER services.
Great, now take away emergency medical care from all the rich people who don't pay any taxes either. That's how it should work according to the VP.
notabotalot.bsky.social
If ER visits are paid for by "American taxpayers," why do I, a taxpaying American citizen, get a huge bill when I have to go there?

As others have pointed out, hospitals are private. They bill you even if you don't have health insurance. How can a person's legal status affect this?
