I had a lot of convos with people who said they were sympathetic, but Defund the Police was a "bad slogan". I told them it wasn't a slogan. It was an answer. It was an answer to the constant question "what can we do to actually lower crime and make our neighborhood's safer?"

The need to have money to live is killing the make cool stuff because it's fun and cool industry. I feel like that is a much more pressing concern than giving rich people another way to profit off of other people's work.

GM Tip: Not every encounter should be about reducing the other side's HP to 0. Every once in a while you should give one side or the other some alternative objective to spice things up.

Bits vs DNA doesn't matter. Viruses have DNA, that doesn't make them sentient any more than having code makes an AI not sentient. Sentience is the capacity to feel which neither AI nor viruses possess.

If I remember correctly, the Law v Chaos axis was a common theme in the war games that DnD was originally based off of. Lawful human empire vs chaotic orc horde, where no side is "the good guys." The Good v Evil axis was then added on top of this.

An especially important lesson for TTRPGs since a number of them have historically presented Lawful Good as the superior form of good and this is simply not true.

My vampire's are not only restricted from entering homes without permission, but are bound by all the laws of polite society. A simple keep out sign enough to stop them from entering a room. The reason they can't cross water is because it often forms the borders between nations.
