the only bad weapon in ultrakill is the stock piercer. it has no meaningful niche its alternate form can't do. the biggest copium is the cooldown speed, but that quickly loses value if you aren't immediately using it after 2.5s. anyways thats enough yapping about opinions i dont like bye (7/7)

screwdriver: how 10 damage(+5 if punched) is considered bad is beyond me. the main argument against it is that railcoins are better, which they are, but like, try doing that against anything that isn't a monologuing sandbag. screwdriver can kill radiant virtues(!) + stop radiant mindflayer TPs (6/7)

also if we are serious with some of these reasons against it. style points? really? bro theres like a dozen different ways to hit farm rank in the most braindead manner possible lol, basic coin spam from either variant doesn't hold a candle to something like just dropping an aoe for style gen (5/7)

i typically don't use alt marksman in speedruns because it's overkill and i want splitshots, but it's very nice in cybergrind because the extra damage becomes more and more important as tanky fodder and annoying minibosses replace worthless fodder in higher waves (4/7)

getting access to a slab revolver is already a huge advantage because having an hitscan + unconditional 2.5 damage is great for anything. with a coin, it gets upgraded to 5.25 damage, which lets you ohko more annoying enemies like radiant drones, or just inflict good filler damage on anything (3/7)

alt marksman: it has a few drawbacks: namely the loss of splitshots and poor ready speeds for core snipes. splitshots don't matter if the enemies don't get one-shot, which is very common with radiant enemies. core snipes are more annoying to spam back-to-back, so that might be a dealbreaker (2/7)
