I would pay a additional 5€/month for YouTube/Music Premium i'f they would allow me to disable Shorts with a setting. Annoyed af when accidentally opening one of those. Even from channels i follow.
Unhook extension works great but that is only for desktop browser so..

Exactly. We know not everyone wants AI, which is why our approach is different. Firefox is not becoming an AI browser. Features are optional, clearly labeled, and fully under your control with a total opt-out coming early next year. It won't please everyone but we believe you deserve choice.
Look, I get that it's frustrating to see @firefox.com make an announcement this tone-deaf, but let's be clear: the same announcement makes it clear that their AI features will be clearly-labelled and can be turned off, which is more than we'll get from Chrome or any of its offspring (Brave, et. al.)

Been on Notesnook for 2 or so years now but it has always felt off so considering going back to Standard Notes but why is the app(image) so slow to load. Cant be electron issue only. Code neglect? 🤔
Also dark mode is broken - as in the toggle does nothing.

I'm not really gung-ho about Firefox shit to LLM either, like many but as long as they stand by their first commitment i actually think the shift to make llm might actually save Firefox from going under. 2026 truly is a make or break moment for them.
