We lost one of our cats today. Her name was Devlin. I always called her Dev. Any time I was outside, she'd follow me like a bodyguard, putting herself between me and whatever she perceived as a threat. She liked belly rubs but couldn't be trusted not to take a swipe at you with her claws.
