I am really amazed of the posts running through my feed in regards to Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom and statements of the 'obligation' to vote for whomever the Democrat is.
That's not enough. It has to be a candidate that is equally good at listening to voters as they are with presenting ideas.

But I think I know what the real solution is to pay the path for third, fourth and fifth parties; rank choice voting. That would let people vote for candidates. They really want with no fear of spoiling an election and let candidates run with agendas not in lock step with party leadership.

But they arenāt even spoilers when you look at it. Ross Perot took 19% in 1992 and didnāt even take a county. Ralph Naderās run in 2000 as often cited but Katherine Harris is the one really responsible, deleting āforgedā ballots to help her boss Bush win.
