The rich can't rule the country if they don't have their own personal army to quell any uppity Americans who think they have rights. Putin and Xi taught them that. The army took an oath to defend the Constitution but they are proving to have no more spine than Republicans. It's up to us.

This has always been the key to controlling the populace in any tyrannical takeover by the rich and powerful. Sell them baubles to keep people occupied, and then control the news so as we get poorer and poorer, we don't know why it's happening or who to blame. So we blame who we're told to. "Them."

I'll be 68 in November and I can pass that test. I've looked at the wanna-bes that stormed the Capitol for Trump on Jan. 6 and if beer guts were the number one qualification for ICE, they'd all get in. Why not just admit that the real qualifications are being white, and hating everyone who isn't?

The beauty of the No Kings protests is that while Trump may be able to lie to the few followers he has left, (tiny crowds, not his people, no influence), he can't lie to the 7 million people who were there, or the people in small towns across the Midwest who saw us with their own eyes.
