Today (29.1.25) @galba.uk held a protest outside the Constituency Office of Leeds West MP and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves in Bramley, Leeds over Rachel Reeves support for airport expansion - especially around a 3rd runway at Heathrow, which is expected to be confirmed in a speech today
Members of @unitetheunion.bsky.social in Manchester working at Capita took to the picket line today (29.01.2025) in a dispute over the company failing to hold pay negotiations in 2024.
The #autosportinternational show 2025 got underway today at the NEC in Birmingham which this year focuses on #f1 because the championship celebrates its 75th anniversary.

Today (14.12.2024) members of Leeds Stand Up To Racism held their annual Santa Knows No Borders event in Leeds where they dressed in Santa outfits raising money for refugees. The event also had music provided by Fox Wood Steel Band who provided Christmas songs with a great Calypso style.

Last night (05.12.2024) my friends over at @strikemap.bsky.social launched their first ever Strike Map report which provides detailed analysis of the strike wave that took hold across the UK in 2023 and shines a light on an area of data overlooked by the ONS.
This morning (29.11.2024) activists from @pal_action targeted the offices in the centre of Manchester where the offices for insurance company Allianz is based. Pal Act claim Allianz has links with Elbit which makes parts for drones for the Israeli Defence Force.
This morning (26.11.2024) pro-Palestine activists gathered at the gates of UAV Engines in Shenstone in Staffordshire to keep up pressure on the company which makes drones for the Israeli Defence Force. UAV Engines is a subsidiary company of Elbit Systems.

Yesterday (16.11.2024) saw a crowd gather outside Victoria Hall in Saltaire to listen to the brilliant Peace Artistes perform for the Yorkshire CND Peace and Craft Fair. The crowd included people of different generations dancing to the great tunes the street band perform.
