The first measurements are running and more will follow soon!
NuClim aims to determine the baseline of greenhouse gas concentrations in the North Atlantic. We look at radon, greenhouse gases and a range of other parameters at the ENA observatory (Azores) and @maceheadccaps.bsky.social (Ireland).
We are starting in 3 hours!
Join us!
Later today, Ava will talk at our presentation series. Learn about atmospheric aerosols, clouds and what we are doing in NuClim.

We are starting at 15.30 UTC.
There is still time to register! We are looking forward to seeing you!

Ava presented NuClim to the consortium of RadonNet during their project meeting.

RadonNet is an EU project workin on quantifying Rn-222 activity concentrations indoors. They focus on connected and low-energy buildings, anticipating the implementation in future cities.

The recordings for our first two presentations are available on our website: www.nuclim.eu/news-events/...
The first was an overview of NuClim by our project coordinator @susanabarbosa.bsky.social and in the second Craig talked about radon-based greenhouse gas tracing.
February 5, 2026 at 12:34 PM
Our fourth speaker in our presentation series is Paula Eisnecker.

She is an early-career scientist at the University of the Azores working with remote sensing data to improve the understanding of local phytoplankton dynamics and their links to ocean–atmosphere CO₂ exchange.
