Watching snippets of the Noem committee hearing & all I can think is that lyric from Joy Division's Eternal - "the procession moves on, the shouting is over" all these committees showing us who these people really are and we as a country are no closer to justice, accountability, or freedom. So sad.

Every time you see a name next to a business, law office, corporate office, leadership, that is Hernandez, Collins, O'Shea, Lee, Chang, Patel, or any myriad of non Anglo Saxon, is a living, breathing, stamp of certainty, that immigration works and has always worked for the benefit of the USA

After reviewing last night’s unhinged Trump rally (buy less pencils, the economy’s fine), the path to a democratic tsunami is to simply “let Trump, be Trump”, (apologies to The West Wing), he needs to market his obliviousness to EVERY swing district in the country. Also wonder why Miami flipped?
I know people want to see the "second strike" video, I'm not sure people understand that folks will view it through their own ideological filter. We'll be no closer to a consensus than before the video is seen. Bottom line is reliance on existing law that doesn't care about optics has to happen.

The ocean pulls back beyond its normal bounds, there's a temptation to see the anomaly of an exposed shoreline none have seen before, only to be dashed on the rocks from a tsunami. Those rolling back justice to see what lies beneath, they will be drowned in the coming tsunami...have faith, carry on

I have a confession, I live in MJT's district. As I see it, there are absolutely NO repercussions for backing Trump here. No raids, no folks fearing for their lives, no huge price hikes...it's precisely why Faux & Newsmax are so pernicious & successful here. See no evil = no evil to these folks.sad
