There is no evidence that the Venezuelan government has deliberately emptied its prisons and sent large numbers of criminals to the U.S. Fact-checkers and independent criminologists have debunked this claim.

I keep seeing memes saying we don’t need to buy food from China, that we need to grow our food here in the US and support US farmers. I don’t necessarily disagree, but the US does not get most of its food from China; only about one percent of the US food supply comes from China.

I don’t think the GOP would consider those of mixed race. To be honest, Democrats wouldn’t either. No one considers mixed races. Often mixed races are looked down upon. You’re not good enough to be white, you’re not good enough to be black, you’re not good enough to be Hispanic, etc.

Regarding race, it’s always divided between white, black, or brown. Those of us who are of mixed races are often left out of the conversation altogether.

I cannot say I am one or the other (race) when I am both or multiracial.

IMO, it’s not that Democrats are bad at messaging, yeah, they kind of are. Democrats will say or state facts, which Republicans seem to be allergic to, and most want slogans that can fit on a bumper sticker.

Facts tend to be long winded with much detailed information.

Though I get the meaning behind it, I always thought “No Kings” was not a great label for the protests. I would have called it a “March for Democracy” or “Civil Liberties Rally” something along those lines.

Based on some comments, some either don’t understand or unaware that Hawaii is not landlocked. The state of Hawaii is made up of 8 main islands (137 in all) and the only way to get from one island to the next is by airplane or boat.

As expensive it is to live here in Hawaii, I don’t want to live anywhere else. I’m born and raised here. Hawaii is my home. My family is here. So, I make do as best as I can. Stretch every dollar as far as I can.

I am born and raised here in Hawaii. I did not move here and now regret moving here because it is very expensive to live in Hawaii, like I have seen and heard from a lot of people who have moved here from the mainland thinking they are going to live in paradise.
