The doc also says Trump’s metabolic panels and blood work are “exceptional”. You very much want “normal” blood panels, not exceptions. This is not medical writing, it’s quackery.

Firing workers is non-essential activity, and illegal during a shutdown under the non deficiency act. Vought has no legal authority to do this, and is committing a crime by doing this.

I do wonder what fun has been happening at every private credit firm that has grown a giant trade credit financing book post First Brands. Like, how many guys that were patting themselves on the back for putting hundreds of millions to work are now wondering if they do any real diligence.

And while helmets help in some crashes - they aren’t some panacea that is going to do anything if a US SUV hits you at 45+ mph.

All the helmet focus is a way to blame cyclists. Helmets in cars would also save tons of lives, but if you told people to wear helmets in cars they would go nuts.

I think it’s becoming apparent Trump is describing whatever AI videos Stephen Miller is showing him to convince him to green light Miller’s agenda. Because he is saying this stuff in detail like he’s “seen” it.

You can’t really be prepared to counter an increase in the long end of the treasury curve driven by crazy policy.

It’s just a giant market and if market players see the US as riskier, it’s going to widen and there isn’t much you can do about it other than change the policy.

Wild to hear an appellate judge just state that the District Court’s finding of fact that protests are small and non violent is “clearly false” with absolutely zero evidence in the record from the government on which to base this.

I assume a healthy diet of Fox and Newsmax is the source?

Has any member of the press asked for copies of the warrants DHS used to raid the private homes of every person in a Chicago apartment building?

Unless there were a ton of warrants signed by a judge, detailing the places to be searched and the people to be arrested this was all illegal.
