Last week, the NYTimes had their audience vote on 17 ways new Mayor Zohran Mamdani could improve NYC, and the results are in.

Voters strongly advocated for increased Parks and Library funding, one of our top priorities here at NYLCV!

NYLCV and our Fund Transit Now partners were very confident this would be the case -- it tracks w/ cities in other countries that have implemented congestion relief policies -- and hammered home the point in the lead up to the launch one year ago.
A year later, blowback over NYC's congestion pricing tolls has died down
Hochul initially delayed the launch of the tolls in 2024 until after the presidential election, but now celebrates them as a political win.
