An hc in mind where Lingsha challenged Zhiruo to guess a certain ingredient from an herbal medicine she made.
Naturally, being born from a lineage of (medicinal) herbal merchants/pharmacists, Zhiruo guessed it right away,,, , but Lingsha was in the mood for the teasings and lied to Zhiruo, said she's wrong. Zhiruo was puzzled, but she didn't question Lingsha and instead studied the refined herbal powder and gave Lingsha more answers.....only to end up always "wrong" 😭😭

Days and nights passed, Lingsha noticed Zhiruo taking too much effort into identifying the secret ingredient, to the point that Zhiruo sometimes sleeps late at night just to get the right answer and earn Lingsha's approval.... Meanwhile, Lingsha didn't mean for Zhiruo to take it seriously, she didn't expect she would act like this over it, ,,, Zhiruo had no idea that Lingsha was only teasing~ 😭😭💥

Although Lingsha thought that Zhiruo looked cute being worked up like this just to get her approval, Lingsha couldn't bear to see Zhiruo losing sleep anymore...and so finally told her to quit it~ 👁️👄👁️
Sat on top of Zhiruo's desk and hooked Zhiruo's notes down with her index finger, ,enough for Zhiruo to peek into her eyes and finally notice her presence~
thennn the rest of the convo happened as Lingsha finally confessed to Zhiruo that she's teasing all along~
