Personally I think Ukraine and Mexico should start negotiating the return of Texas to Mexico. They could hold talks in Cuba.

Cleaning out garages: I sold 3 cars today, bringing me down to 6 finished cars, 3 drivers and 7 in storage (meaning they are fantastic cars that need restoration). This is so painful, I’ve spent so much time finding, researching and preserving these cars, making them drivers. I’m down 14 cars.

Yes I spent all day outside in 25 degrees. It’s college playoff time! Having a lot of fun watching my buddy’s son make history for his D2 team. They are 2 rounds in heading for the quarterfinals!

I’m so sick of Republicans who want simplistic answers to everything. We’ve spent most of my lifetime being ruled by people who won’t do the work to research or examine anything, just make laws and policies based on what they feel, and when that fails claim it’s all in God’s hands.

Mountain motoring today to a soundtrack of my youth: Elton, Queen, Billy Joel, and the required Allman Brothers, Lynrd Skynrd, Zeppelin, etc. I can remember my “friends” saying Elton or Queen or whatever were “too gay” or Sly Stone as “too black” whatever the hell that meant. Conformance sucks.

I took my daughters to Wicked II this evening: Great films by any measure. 2 was not quite as good; the last hour both dragged and was too shy about tie-ins to the Wizard of Oz. The ballads were meh, and IMO showcased Ariana Grande’s voice over Cynthia Erivo, who is stronger vocally.

If DHS and the Department of State want to classify Somalia as “safe” for Somalis to return, they should have to spend 3 days there without security to do so. Heck, as a patriot I’ll buy Kristi and Marco plane tickets.
Trump wants to end temporary protected status for Somalis. But American aid groups have had to limit their work in the country because Mr. Trump dismantled the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Just catching up on local news. It’s emotionally difficult to learn the details of today’s shooting in DC. The metro train stop is the one I use constantly, my office is steps away. I’ve bought coffee for and joked with the Guard members who are often there, completely unnecessarily. 1/

The Datsun officially fired, but I had to build my own harness and bypass everything: There’s something that’s making it electrically dead, zero power anywhere. Likely the Ammeter or a harness someone disconnected. Got out the wiring diagram for weekend reading. RTFM and all that.
