Created in 1951, the OACP is the voice of Ontario Police Leaders. We provide a channel for police leaders to share ideas and cooperatively create solutions. Our association is not-for-profit and we are based in Toronto.
It is with profound sadness that the OACP announces the passing of Retired Chief J.P. Levesque, formerly of the Thunder Bay Police Service.

On behalf of the OACP Executive, Board and membership, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Chief Levesque’s family, friends, and former colleagues.

While hate crimes overall affect many communities, anti-Jewish hate crimes are the single largest category reported in Canada, especially when broken down by religion-motivated incidents.
