TIL that if you have hardware virtualization enabled in your BIOS and Hyper-V enabled in Windows your base OS runs itself in a specially privileged VM. I am mortified.

Stellar Blade, No Man's Sky, and Tekken 8 all run faster and smoother on my Fedora install over USB3 than my Windows install. NMS, which crashes all the time on me, hasn't crashed once. Make it make sense.

When you dig around low-level programming you learn scary things like "a byte is 8 bits" is a convention, not a standard.

Themes -> Editor -> Settings -> Corner Rounding = 0
Appearance -> Window Appearance -> User Interface Density = Compact
Be gone, rounded corners!
