The ‘Fixing our broken planet’ exhibition at @nhm-london.bsky.social is depressing, yet fascinating. But it also makes me wonder if the museum has plans to reduce the amount of plastic sold in its multiple gift shops?

A reason to be optimistic in these bleak times? Greenham Common - once an airfield for nuclear bombers is now a nature reserve with orchids, adders and nightjars; the nuclear bunkers are now used for Star Wars films and the watchtower is now a splendid cafe.
