Thanks, and you are correct. I worked a lot of heavily physical jobs in my life, and when you are sore, especially your muscles, a hot bath is amazing.

I have received some comments in my life that were negative about men taking a bath vs a shower.

I know it's not considered very masculine, but occasionally, a hot bath is the answer.

The bath is helping to relieve the headache that followed the dental work I had this morning.

Yeah, they wont take those cars out in the rain. Probably half of them dont have windshield wipes because they never go in the rain (which is true). But a paid day off is welcome.

If I shared this before, my apologies (I'm old). While in Ohio at university in the late 80s, I worked at the college radio station. One day I found myself in my apartment with this dude, we were hanging out and talking. He tells me he is Jimmy Pursey from Sham 69 (he indeed was, too).

They canceled having to work on Monday due to high winds and rain. We were to change all of the 60+ speed limit signs on Coastal Highway back to their original speeds (there's a classic hot rod show in town and they dropped the speed limit to 30 mph on the highway). Now it's a paid holiday off!

These are my maternal grandparents and one of my aunts and uncles in Ocean City, MD in 1953. OC is only about 2 hours from Baltimore, where my family is from. My parents came here and brought me. My kids come here, as do my grandkids. 5 generations of my family have been coming to this town.

We have a local rum here that I enjoy. It's so good, even straight. It's fantastic. Unfortunately, I enjoyed it too much, and my liver suffered. But it's healing nicely and is only mildly affected. I hope one day soon to enjoy some good beer or rum again.

I never learned to play anything other than the drums. I wish I could play guitar or piano. I've often fancied learning an instrument if I ever get to retire.

I struggle to see why a good woman eludes you. You are not a bad looking man, certainly better looking than me.

You write intelligent and well thought out posts showing insight and critical thinking.

You seem to eat well and keep in shape.

It must be a lack of acceptable women in your area.

I had vivid dreams last night after taking 300g of magnesium. No nightmares, but they were unpleasant dreams of our former white trash neighbors from Ohio. I dont know why I dreamed of them. I woke from the dream, used the bathroom, and the dream picked back up where it left off.

I agree. I am certain we would get along well, and it would be enjoyable. It's a shame I am unable to meet up with some of the wonderful people I have met on here, but I am still grateful to get to know some people I otherwise would not have encountered.

I hope our military stands up against this administration, along with the governors and federal judges. The Supreme Court had already relinquished all power and authority to the executive branch, as has congress.
