We stopped at the boating lake on the way home today.
I washed and rewaterproofed my bike gloves and now they will not dry. Because of all the water trapped in the padded layer inside the waterproofing.
Anyway, this is why they've been in the oven for three hours.
(Fan oven, extremely low heat, it is (slowly) working!)

I am very unhappy about this limited capitulation to Big Car (we're not going to own one, but being able to rent one is becoming unavoidable), but I did my driving theory test today and passed with 98% on the questions, and 81% on the most boring video game part.

Things are definitely on the upswing now, but I have had Such A Week. I'd say I was ready for the weekend, but I have a fairly intense sewing deadline for the end of Sunday, so, uh, I'm just enjoying the moment right now of staring blankly at the ceiling 😅

I'm also having a lot of, does it even matter. Anyone else could do my crew role. Sometimes I get short when flustered. I've never got one piece of player feedback in five years. It all just feels very pointless right now.
Quite possibly am not going to be able to go and crew Empire LARP this year because I can't find a lift for us. And every time I have posted looking for help I am told to consider public transport. Which is not even slightly direct, we still have to get to the station somehow, and is £100 pp.
