I'm not a Democrat or a Republican but I'm angered too. I know people who will be losing their health care & they worked their entire lives in order to retire with a little dignity. Now that's all being stripped away by an illegitimate regime & Mexico looks better & better as this nation crashes.

Next time, wait longer & then it will look different. I've been cleaning out my art studio -- it's been a year -- and it looks so much better. The best part is I found several brushes & paints I thought I had lost.

I'm deactivating my account because I'm tired of being attacked by people spoiling for a fight. Obviously anyone left of centre in the West has more than enough real enemies but on SM, regardless of which site it may be, there are those who live to throw 💩 and I don't need this in my life. Been there & done that. My Senators & Rep still don't give a damn about any of their constituents. Instead they do the bidding of the lobbyists who bribe them. If we cannot take the party back from Wall Street, I suggest we destroy the idea of this 2 party system like most of the world.

I do these things too; because I'm known as a Sanders guy MAGA types will sometimes talk to me. And I agree, these conversations can precipitate a change in another's pov. But the Dems betrayed its base & therefore deserves all the criticism it receives. This is also democracy in action

I'm unaware of any existing equivalency between science & religion today. I'm aware the wise men of ancient India developed a theory which resembled String Theory, but it may have been a 'fluke' as other observations didn't test as being factual. Religion is fiction, but spirituality is legit.

Like to point out that the GOP frequently criticized Obama for being undignified in office. They criticized him for wearing a light colored suit, for bringing professional athletes & entertainers into the Oval Office -- lots of trivial nitpicking. The GOP response has been this fucking circus...

There's been a 'brain drain' from the U.S. for over 10 years as the quality of life circles the bowl. Since America chose stupidity over reason, there's no reason for any intelligent, young prof to live here. Lots of other professionals are also leaving: educators, writers, artists, filmmakers...
