To the Pup Pack I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who has liked the pup hood and the Pup Pack. As an avatar artist, it means everything to be able to create art that becomes part of someone’s virtual identity. Even now, I am overwhelmed with joy every time I see a new pup join the pack. Your patience, enthusiasm, and support has kept me going. Unfortunately, dedicating myself to this line of work has put me in a difficult financial situation. I no longer enjoy the success I once did, and my persistence has affected not only myself but also those closest to me. I feel so guilty, but resigning from my passion has been incredibly difficult. I know I am not alone in this struggle. Many artists in our community have devoted themselves to projects that don’t reward them emotionally or financially. Our community has grown very selective, with everything from peer pressure to the ecosystem surrounding an avatar base determining its success. The business of avatar bases has never been more competitive, and only a few become profitable compared to the time and energy poured into them. Part of the reason I started the Dealer’s Den at Furality was to bring attention to the amazing work being done in our community that otherwise might go unnoticed. Even if I don’t currently offer something that interests you, I hope you will consider supporting me by sharing my work with your friends or looking around and trying something new. It’s the only way we’ll keep the economy of furry avatars going. Over the years I’ve grown so much as an artist, contributed to some of the most beloved creations of Furality, and created something I am proud of. Thank you to those that have supported me.
