See, his children could do things like rewind time for a couple minutes for their gods of destruction...

But he could manipulate time in anyway he wanted. That's why they were the offspring, and he was the 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥.

Then, he simply stuck it in the air, and an energy field surrounded him- one that was strong enough to repel anything but a direct attack.

The Grand Priest chuckled at his own joke. As the traps came around him and the King of men began to use his devilish tricks, the Grand Priest oddly seemed calm and laid in wait.

As her weapons began to blast themselves at constantly accelerating speeds in the direction of the grand priest, portals opened around him.

Shooting from every angle, newer and more weapons appearing as Gilgamesh rushed around.
