Happy forty-third day of summer to all who celebrate. This is the "Night Butterfly" dahlia (with a special cameo by "Fashion Monger" in the back). They are in one of the new dahlia beds I created by the pool this season. I think it will be a permanent addition. 🌱

Any have a good way to plan and manage cucumbers? Last year mine took over!

I’m walking the bulldog around the yard for seeing signs of Spring. There are a few leaf buds on the cherry trees. The sparrows are occupying the bluebird houses right now. My son trimmed rose bushes and the grass is getting green. But it is cold enough to frost!

I read Kite Runner a couple times to read the descriptions of life at home in Afghanistan. It’s hard to imagine their life behind a wall with gardens and children at play while war waged on the other side. A terrific book.

This is my intro to this app. I’ll be looking around and sharing some of myself with you. Anything to hide from the politics of today. I’m exhausted.
