I should really learn how to plan a piece out. 10 1/2 hours, mostly trying to figure things out. Lots of my bad habits stem from me abusing the rule of thirds, then later trying to branch out from it and experiment with new compositions. I drew this ages ago when I first saw Turning Red. The whole story resonated with me, the stress of being a child with so much expected of them, the mother/daughter relationship for both Mei/her mother/her grandmother... I just sobbed for days after seeing it #fanart #turningred

I'm calling it quits on the drawing challenge for several reasons. I'm always behind on it because I'll see a prompt I don't want to do and then I'll procrastinate and everything falls apart.

So I'm leaving that behind to work on pieces I'll actually love.
