Americans quietly sit by & shrug as their rights/freedoms are stripped away. Indifference, ignorance or denial? Millions died in defense of democracy, but today - apathy, complacency or surrender prevail. Our politicians are clueless or complicit as Autocracy replaces our experiment in self rule.

Once fair elections are gone, the only way to regain democracy will be war, either an underground insurgency or full blown armed warfare. I see no other alternative. The founders understood the price paid for freedom, too bad most Americans forgot.

The #1 thing that didn't make sense about the 2024 presidential election is that even as Kamala Harris lost every swing state (according to the vote tallies at least), Democrats won in all but one swing state with senate races and came very close to sweeping them outside the presidential race.

I feel sympathy and anger that critical thinking is not being taught in the schools or in the home. This is intentional by the government but parents are abdicating their responsibility too.
