I finally got around to watching the rest of Dracula AD 1972. Such a 70s movie, with a pretty decent soundtrack.
I kept thinking I'd seen the woman who played Van Helsing's granddaughter before, so I looked her up. She played Moriarty's girlfriend on an episode of Star Trek TNG.

Right. This afternoon or evening will be spent watching something that's been on the DVR for a bit. I'm not sure what yet, but the leading contender is Dracula 1972AD.
It's been ages since I've seen it, but I'm sure that Hammer did an accurate job of depicting 'hippies' in it.

During my lunch break, I had the tv on. TCM was showing 'The Conquerer,' which I've never actually seen. What little I watched of it confirmed my assumption that isn't a great film.

Among the tons of stuff kept stashed away for years at work are these two chairs. I called them the Nickelodeon Chairs, since they look like something one would've seen on a Nick show back in the 90s.

The accounting people at work have to clear out a file room with documents that go back to, like, the beginning of time. I spotted this absolute unit of a bookshelf stereo sitting on the floor in the hall outside the room yesterday. It was gonna be trashed, so...yoink.

One of the few people who still come into the office knocked on my door. He had a couple pictures of a snake that was down in the parking garage. Naturally, I had to go down to see if it was still there. It wasn't.

Doing some dusting and this was pushed to the back of a shelf. I've had this since the 70s. Sadly, the lil guy who goes in the ejector seat is gone. I suspect that's pretty common

Oh my. I didn't see all of Anderson's shows when I was young, but I did see the Thunderbirds movie that was shown in the US. Much later, I watched reruns of Captain Scarlet.

I recently discovered I have the 1953 movie 'Night People' on dvd. When the heck did I get that? It's certainly not a bad movie, but I'm a little surprised I bought a copy of it at some point. It's not the usual kind of cold war spy stuff I enjoy.
