They were both great albums and took music another step forward. They took us in a rapid progression from Love Me Do to Sgt Pepper’s to Abbey Road. Go back and listen to music before the Beatles and you’ll understand. Love the Kinks too.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

Last nights vinyl!
What a great album!
I missed it completely when it came out. Anita brought it with her on CD when we got together. This album was in a vinyl collection that was given to me by a neighbor nearly 30 years ago. Thanks to Chris for not picking up his vinyl 2 years after they divorced.

Journalistic independence is a must at universities. Not a surprising move from my conservative home state that I left 55 years ago without regret. I’ll still cheer for their football and basketball teams.
