Yeah when I was a kid, crying was beaten out of me. So after the song came out when I was depressed I'd play "Everybody hurts".
It was intended to make folks feel better, but it was such a drag-ass downer it made me cry.
That was long ago and I now just feel happy and content. No more drama.

The grand jury system is corrupt. It's proceedings are secret & almost guarantee indictments.
A jury of one's peers is the best chance of justice for a defendant.
Meanwhile, the person charged is frequently bankrupted by legal costs.
And public defenders are hopeless. They count plea deals as wins.

Here in Florida, we have a stand your ground law and many of us are armed. I pity the fool who tries to enter my courtyard or home masked, without ID or warrant .

My grandkids told me about a new meme here in Tampa area schools:

It's created a raucous conversation with some teachers and parents.
Now ordinarily, such a thing would tickle my old revolutionary sole but I mourne the loss of innocence. When I was a kid we revered leaders.
