To butt in, I'm both an Atheist and an Agnostic. I don't KNOW if there is a god (Agnostic) and I don't BELIEVE there is a god (Atheist). Neither is a positive claim about the existence of god, but rather a claim of one's own knowledge and/or belief which is of course a subjective matter.

Probably know as much as the average American knows about our government. Or theirs.
In any case, an opposition still has things it could do, like when the Republicans weren't in power. Instead, it has done very little with barely any obstruction. Almost as if they were complicit.

Not in the U.S. and again, that's almost the exact thing a captured opposition would want if I was. Irate calls and letters and emails, etc. are valuable for sure, just like petitions are. And all of them are just as easily ignorable by the regime.

It looks like the US has two major parties, one of which whole-heartedly embraces and is pushing forward with fascism, and the other exists to capture all the opposition and hold them to one side until the fascism bit is done, and then complain about it but not actually fix it. Is that how it works?

To make cards you need to have designers and testers and product managers. AFAIK WotC hasn't suddenly increased their development staff so this is quite a lot of additional work coming in. Are they going to use AI in the design process and slop it all up because that's easier than paying people?

Many countries have similar minimum value rules because the amount of duties collected doesn't cover the amount of administrative costs collecting it costs.

In effect the US will be paying more to collect duties on small packages (say $100) than it would be collecting on that $100.

Failed to get many more points for Yargle day BUT did achieve the All According to My Calculations Blue Achievement for winning a game with no cards in library. Which is weird because I was sure I had one card left.

Playing Yargletron and had a 23/17 flying Yargle flying into my opponent who, because they'd played Doomsday Excruciator, had only one card left. So on my attack, before damage he sacced two creatures so they died to drawing a card instead of taking the damage.
And they were playing a YARGLE DECK.

I think Vance (with his 200 days of "experience") will be a lovely puppet for Thiel. But Thiel isn't the only oligarch with fingers into this regime and I would guess they would be arguing this out until they are ready to announce it.
If not, it's Night of the Long Knives 2.0 and Vance is Röhm.

Didn't Vance also say his 200 days as VP has helped him to gain the experience to replace Trump? Those 200 days being filled with almost non-stop holidaying around the world. I guess that does help him with the skills needed to be a rubber stamp that goes golfing every week.
