I agree there, I really can't believe this was 16K it's got such good graphics. But that was the Ultimate magic , every game a beauty

Games that remind me of my Dad #zxspectrum #retrogaming #Jetpac another game that really does not need to be amplified through a large radiogram, but Dad considered that the height of humour and spent a merry hour with 'farting' Jetman as it became known!

Games that remind me of my Dad #zxspectrum #retrogaming #Arcadia. Dad discovered you could connect the Speccy to a hi-fi to boost the sound. This game terrified the neighbours for a little while. It does NOT sound good amplified and not at maximum volume!

A couple of days after Dad passed away I was watching the security camera and saw this image in the sky . I like to believe it was Dad letting us know in the most unfrightning way he could that he had passed over okay #grief #deathofaparent #angel

It was always such an achievement to find a new room and so much humour in the game as well

Games that remind me of my Dad #ZXSpectrum #Retrogaming #JetSetWilly, after Dad had given up with Manic Miner along came #JetSetWilly. After learning the 'writetyper' cheat he would spend hours trying to discover as many rooms as possible.

Manic Miner is a true #retrogaming classic, I enjoyed it on the #ZXSpectrum, then in the 1990s on the #SAMCoupe which has to be the definitive #8bit version, with 60 caverns! I recently revamped the back issue of SAM Revival magazine (#9) which features the game on the coverdisk. www.samcoupe.com
SAM Revival issue 9, revamped into a full colour professionally printed issue earlier in the year, with updates and extras added, Manic Miner on the SAM Coupe, featuring on the coverdisk (with permission of the SAM version's copyright holders). Featuring the original 20 caverns from the ZX Spectrum version, plus 40 new levels. (Disk image can also be supplied for emulator use.) I'm amazed our copy was undamaged as sometimes I think Dad got so frustrated he could have thrown the cassette out the window!
