It's been ages since I've been on Bluesky, a break from social media was needed. I finally finished the 1/48 Batman 1935 vignette, background and all. Super happy with the outcome! FYI base plane is a Dora Wings Gee Bee Early Versionmolded. I modded.

Destroid Spartan 2 of 2. To have your work published by peers is an honor beyond measure and I'm so very grateful. As to the model, green is original plastic all the rest is new and scratchbuilt. I'm extra proud of the base which added to the story I was going for.

The dio assembly. Painting the dio base is all that's left which I'll be doing with my older daughter.

The prop CA glued to the engine shaft. From this angle, I dig the prop!

The painted prop after satin topcoat (VMS) and prior to Tamiya grey pin wash around the center section and hub.

The paints airbrushed to create the effect. They were super-thinned via MLT and sprayed at relatively low pressure.
