I'm a historian of anticolonialism and anarchism in the 20C. My first book, 'Anarchy or Chaos', is a biography of India's foremost anarchist activist M.P.T. Acharya, and I am currently writing a book on the Indian revolutionary movement in Europe, 1905-1918. www.hurstpublishers.com/book/anarchy...

"The Dekoloniale project involved the development of decolonial city tours, groundbreaking exhibitions, and powerful artistic interventions, all documented in this book."

I'm delighted to see this book has now come out.

A Rutgers professor has been forced to flee the country for his safety, after targeting by a far-right student group that was *checks notes* claiming they felt unsafe.

I'm horrified.
I'm angry.

I don't know what happened to the Indian Revolutionaries Abroad Commemoration Committee, set up by Lanka Sundaram in the early 1950s, but it would be exciting to read the memoirs and contributions of veteran exiled revolutionaries.

More images that didn't make it into my book. Group photos from India House in London circulated widely in British newspapers in the early twentieth century. These two are from 1907 (left) and 1908 (right).

Another image that didn't make it into the book is this of Bhupendranath Dutt from when he arrived in Athens from New York in 1915. Instead, I have his fake passport in the name of "Balthazar Dutt".
