I decided to add sound recording into PNM iOS release and it took longer than I anticipated but it's almost done.
My note app is almost ready but I've decided to release new PNM version soon to prepare for promotion with install attribution since you can't really promote apps for iOS without this.

I added a way to reuse "off" beat positions in beat map with any sound. Also in chords, main sound is continuation
The note app is practically done - the historic states, the sync, all the basics are written but still many things to do for release - help system, l11n and OS ports as it should work on iOS, Android and desktop bins (sadly can't do OS at this moment). Sync by file only, will add local net later.
One might ask why so long? Well, I get bored doing the same thing all the time so sometimes I rotate things I work on, I may do that again.
I have lots of code written for 2 more projects, one of which didn't go as well as I hoped so I postponed it. Other one is fine so I might work on it too.
It may seems like app features mentioned contradict each other and this is exactly why I'm making it. I've found the way.
For me it's a game changer - todo lists, password manager, project planner and private journal all in one app.
Already using it and on track of public release in 2-3 months.
Why make another note app? Because my demands are quite specific:
1. Privacy and online independence. Local storage
2. Protect some notes to avoid data leak
3. Full change history, including metadata
4. Ease of finding old notes with similar content to new one's
5. Same repo used on multiple devices
I've been working on a new app last months.
I am storing a lot of small notes in text files everywhere so it's a total mess. Sometimes, important notes get lost in the bulk. So over the years I got some ideas about how to organize and protect them, some of which I'm finally implementing.
