Growing a SaaS is hard.

it's not hard because of the tech.

it's hard because there's no formula for marketing.

marketing is literally everything tech isn't

- delayed gratification
- changing variables
- undpredictable results

So . . to every founder grinding today

Keep pushing ❤️

$440,000 for a government report that's riddled with hallucinated quotes?

I'd want my money back too . . .

AI-written reports are OK. But AI "research" without human oversight is diabolical.

Deloitte is forced to pay back $290,000

I'm big on AI, but let's put humans in the loop 🙏

😅 yeah, unfortunately it's going to have to be a "manual" process.

absolutely right . . . also every journey is unique.

What worked for one founder (thanks to a big network) will not necessarily work for the other.

Thanks for sharing Mira.

So the clicks didn't come from the folks responding to your viral posts?

But from the previous post with a link to your website?

just when I was close to giving up on this platform . .

you show us exactly how marketing should be done 🔥

4th time founders are just course creators 😅

Sharing how to do it 👉 "theoretically"
oluadedeji.bsky.social
I feel like that sometimes. Especially with the number of hours wasted here.

1st time founders build first and market last

2nd time founders market first and build last

3rd time founders pre-sell first and build last

Happy Wednesday 👋

My plan this week:

- Finish editing 4 overdue blogs
- Publish 2 of them tomorrow
- Test Latest Gemini 2.5 Flash

Happy Monday 👋

😅 I keep telling myself that I need to reduce the number of goals. . .

Day 7
Drive last-minute registrations with strong urgency, clarify any final doubts.

PS. writing a blog to help other founders
oluadedeji.bsky.social
Day 5
Provide immediate value. Share a quick template, or a useful tip or address a common misconception related to the problem you're solving.

Day 6
Build connection and trust by sharing a personal challenge related to the problem you're solving.
oluadedeji.bsky.social
Day 3
Show others are excited, create FOMO and validation.

Day 4
Explain why solving this specific problem, at this time is crucial for your ICP.
oluadedeji.bsky.social
Day 1
Establish credibility and set the stage for why your launch matters. What problem are you solving?

Day 2
Highlight a specific, tangible outcome your ICP will gain. Connect it to their pain.

hahaha!
Doctor: “Do you smoke?”

Me: “Only when I’m doing marketing.”

Doctor: “Your lungs are in perfect condition.”

Me: "just as well. I couldn't afford a transplant with 0$ MRR"

love how you've been able to keep the feedback from the data completely objective. . . . if it doesn't work you simply take the data and learn more

I think it's scrolling through social media that creates the distractions. . . the FOMO is real
oluadedeji.bsky.social
sounds like a business idea 😅

I think reddit is still a valid marketing channel for early-stage startups trying to figure out their ideal customers.

what's the plan for the quinces! That's a lot?

Jellies, Jam or something else?

Billions vanished in weeks

Bots killed 77% of Reddit's AI visibility

Distribution is no longer for human eyes

ChatGPT’s citation of Reddit content dropped from 9.7% to 2%.

Is our content strategy a text file update away from total collapse?

The biggest shift in Startup this year isn't how easy it is to build a SaaS with AI.

It's the fact that building distribution has actually never been harder

- social media reach is down
- SEO/GEO is a battlefield
- newsletters are tough

Just my observation 😥
