🚨 Solitary confinement is one of the most harmful things a prison system can do to someone.
It often means being kept alone for 22+ hours a day, with little or no human contact. When it lasts more than 15 days, the UN warns it can cause serious harm — and in some cases may amount to torture. ⛔️
