Mania is like the only one I can think of that had overall great qualities..unfortunately never got the chance to play runners because it was taken down so quickly :( how anyone thinks this time period was better for Sonic as opposed to the 2000s i just can’t understand ngl

the dark age of Sonic is typically known as like 2003-2010; all the kind of edgy titles that all the critics hated back in the day. Since colors and gens did well, a lot of people start the meta-era from there to about 2020ish. At least how I’ve been familiarized w it!

It just feels like colors and gens barely made it out, they get a pass. but everything after that until the movies is just.. Almost no redeeming factors? I’ve loved Sonic my entire life and yet no matter how hard I try, boom, lost world, Sonic 4, forces. I cannot enjoy them 💀
