I'm preparing for migration from Windows to a Linux OS... I need to find a program that has a similar tool to Adobes' Camera RAW Filter, that can output to BMP with various diffusion options for the BMP conversion!

Ideally for a high volume work flow. Where to start?

Nothing, I think it's listed and therefore has some protection, but with that comes expense. I'm not sure who runs and/or owns it. My best guess is it's being moth balled. I would hope some measures have been put in place to preserve it.

Still used as a school/college till about year 2000 me thinks

For starters, By not making it profitable, it would stop creating any more. Followed by a programme of social housing and affordable housing to bring down market prices, selloffs by landlords follow at affordable prices because landlords incentives are removed.

By having a grown up government that understands you don't sell social housing stock without it being replaced. And understands that housing isn't a commodity to be used for profiteering. Currently, strict rent controls are required. This all leads to a future pensions crisis btw.

Complete nonsense. For starters a car is a non-essential tool that doesn't perform any function that can't be fulfilled by other means. Whereas shelter and homes are essential.

People should have to demonstrate a certain degree and competence, and some understanding of the world before they are allowed to operate in government. From my perspective I can only see this as a symptom of a severe mental illness.
