It's very very likely just a brand new anxiety symptom because clearly I needed more spice in my life, but good god is it hard trying to not think of the worst. Genuinely. You can point to every logical little thing, but the brain spits out "what if?" and makes it pointless.

The thing about going to the doctor is that it's both Not Easy when you're broke, and because everything is always dismissed because of my weight. I'm never taken seriously. So idk, I might have cancer but I won't know until it's too late because no one bothered to investigate.

It's a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. That's what took me to the ER with a panic attack a couple years back. You're anxious, your body responds, you get more anxious. It never happened again that badly because I learned my symptoms, but I never had this particular one so I'm like, what is it?

It hasn't. So I'm even more anxious because it hasn't gone away, because maybe it is something.

I'll give it a few more days, but maybe I really do need to go to a doctor.

I've had the book since it released, but I still haven't finished it lol (doing that really feels like XV is over and I'm not ready). I know what happens but not the details, is it confirmed that Bahamut looks like them? Because I only knew that because someone poked around the models and shared.

I always wondered if Bahamut had some hand on the creation of the Caelum line, because Somnus and Noctis look just like him. Yeah, it could be just convenient asset usage because we never see him without his mask. However, I'm running with it.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
