Photo from yesterday by famous London location. Newman Arms Newman passage where Peeping Tom filmed. Awaiting critique from @willjennings.bsky.social for film company using locations to promote. TBH though would like his opinions on the 2&8 modern architecture done to Fitzrovia.

I just saw clip of this and honestly had to lip read to check she actually saying it. Rachel Reeves *applauds*
Rachel Reeves: “We are freezing Russian assets and let me be clear I don’t actually mean the honorable member for Clacton.”

Looking forward to seeing American friends Grady and Julie tomorrow up west though, perhaps less, some of their stories. Last one Grady told me involved armed militia* in their local park by the swings he pushes his grandchildren on and the pond guarding against Antifa mallards.

Listening to this but apparently the line "the most openly corrupt president in American history” was cut out b/c Trump has once again stifled free opinion in another country. IMHO. Sad that BBC in this place tbh.

Interesting to know whose funding this court case in Australia about under 16s off social media. Quite in favour myself but then I'm a horrible authoritarian with nieces under 12.

that policy of Tower Hamlets leader is effin mad but it shows unity is possible bringing together as he has the grumpy brexit voting white community with the younger muslim demographic.
Would appreciate the inclusion of Tower Hamlets to gauge the impact of our bicycle-hating mayor on an inner London borough with the second lowest rate of car ownership in the entire country.

Save Our Safer Streets is in the appeal court, today or tomorrow...

Rewatched American Psycho last night. Really good film except first time I saw it I knew it was satire, second time (i.e. last night) realised it's actually more of a documentary on where we are now. #mundane

I think it's great that Birmingham City get a new stadium and good luck to them but when I saw Heatherwick involved I immediately had concerns. I sincerely hope no public money involved he's not coughed up for Garden Bridge or Routemaster bus fiascos yet.

I suppose given today's news this is not Boris Johnson's greatest failing.
London's (GLA's) finances made worse if West Ham relegated. Mishandled stadium deal by ex mayor Johnson, losing us money from beyond the grave as it were. Periodic reminder that hunting Johnson with dogs is still allowed in many LDN boroughs.

That British Library exhibition on maps is deffo in the dance off / lipsync / whatever it is that best describes something indifferent. Also Houseman's Book trip uninspiring. In short crossing the Euston Road proved, as so often in the past, to be a mistake.
