Right, here we go. If tuberculosis is your area of interest, whether you're a doctor, scientist, policy specialist, or survivor, everyone is welcome on this list. Let’s rebuild our little community here.

Let me know in the comments if you want to be added, and please share this on your feed.

There really should be a medical term for that unique brand of anxiety that hits on delivery day when you’re waiting for your clinical home care company to turn up with your life-sustaining biologics.

I have discovered there are people out there with full time demanding jobs, a young family, and marathon training (for fun!) on top of it all. Meanwhile my inner monologue just screams HOW DOES ANYONE DO ANYTHING about a thousand times a day. Is there a secret formula? Please share.

Having a depressing time in the replies to this because liberals don't think this applies to them too.

It's so strange to me how the absolutely core question at the heart of politics - "what kind of society do we want to live in?" - is so absent from discussion, either assumed settled or reduced to meaningless generalities.

New wallpaper from @orangejuicefordinner (www.instagram.com/orangejuicef...) Spoiler alert: I’ll keep being weird daily, because normal is overrated 🤷🏻‍♀️

But where’s the grift in that? <cynical facial expression>

I'm just speculating here, but - hear me out - maybe, just maybe, autism isn't a defect and is just a facet of a range of brain development. And, maybe, we should focus on the specific needs of individuals rather than associating broad unfocussed labels with specific types of disability.

“Sally Rooney could be arrested as a terrorist supporter if she enters the UK”

Like read that sentence over and over and reflect on the state of this country

Finally, a human rights lawyer turned politician who isn’t afraid to call a genocide what it is.

What’s happening in Gaza is a genocide.

Seriously, @rickycm once called me a ‘font of all bureaucratic knowledge,’ and I don’t think I’ve ever received a better compliment.

Gave my GP a card and gift for supporting me with my mental health and neurodivergence. He laughed when I told him, completely seriously, that I’d checked the GMC policy on conflicts of interest and gifts of minimal value, then recited the wording back to him. Rules matter.

We must unite against those who seek to divide us.
I know many people, particularly from London's diverse communities, are feeling extremely worried following the events this weekend.

It takes me back to how I felt growing up in the ’70s and ’80s, when
far-right political parties marched on our streets.

The leaders of the far-right are once again attempting to hijack our flag, with minorities being intimidated and fear, hatred and division being sown.

As Londoners, and as proud Brits, we must unite to reject the far-right
– just as we have many times before.

But it’s going to take a huge effort from us all – from people of all races and backgrounds, who are willing to stand up for our British values of equality, inclusion and mutual respect.

As Mayor, I'll continue to do everything I can to challenge the far-right and all those who peddle the politics of fear and division.

I urge other politicians and Londoners to do the same.

MAYOR OF LONDON, SADIQ KHAN

When we remember we beat fascism before, we must also remember that we kinda let fascism happen before we actually beat it. I'm not a historian but I think that the one lesson of history might be not to have to beat it in the first place.

I’ll never be a Conservative, but I’m not celebrating the collapse of the Tory party. I’d much rather see a centre-right party as the official opposition than Reform, a hard-right party led by Nigel Farage. Labour is cooked as well. The Greens and independents look like our only real hope now.

Good point. What I’d really like is to feel a sense of solidarity with others, so I might look into joining activist networks and getting involved in activities that support migrants & refugees. I don’t have a lot of capacity though, and burnout is a big issue for me, so I need to find a balance.

I believe this too. It reminds me of a photo taken over the weekend by Misan Harriman. I don’t cope well with crowds at demos, but I really feel I need to start being more visible and vocal in the streets.
