The last 6 videos in my phone are two of the last Eras Tour acoustic set, the fire viewed from my roof, a walk-through of my apartment for insurance in case of loss, and two of my Godson at LAMCA watching the Metropolis after losing so much. My place is okay. I am relatively so. But also, so not.

I talked to someone at Habitat LA today, and he shared that this donation had come in among so many. Thank you to all who are donating to help people and animals affected by these fires.

I don't have the bandwidth to post about most of what's happening here with the fires. Unfathomable loss all around. Amidst such devastation, one light moment was seeing four hummingbirds drinking at my feeder. It's tough here for wildlife as well as humans. Look at territorial birds sharing.
